Stranded
A combination of dangerous tropical storms, mechanical problems on a very small plane in an airport that only operates 2 days a week and being 12,684 miles from true civilization with shaky internet and cellular service. We are stuck! Not sure when we will get out--hoping our travel agent can get us back on the journey quickly--for now, we are simply happy to be safe and secure at a b&b near the airport!

Under the sea
From the Mara in Africa to the depths of the Indian Ocean. Today our adventure took us to the spectacular coral reefs of Felicity and Coco islands in the Seychelles. Our private charter navigated 14 foot waves bringing us to a private underworld venue teaming with thousands of colorful and exotic fish. Alas, our quest to swim with the elusive sea turtle did not happen! However, the schools of giant Angel Fish, Puffer fish and Needlenose did not disappoint. Tomorrow, one last walk on the beach before our 12,500 mile journey back home. Truly an amazing time celebrating our beautiful and blessed life together! We are looking forward to sharing more stories and pictures when are home :)

Breathtaking Beach-a day for just chillin'
Unlimited sunshine met with rolling waves on a velvet white beach. The ocean changed colors every ten minutes! This is a foodies delight. The specialty is Creole/Kreole cooking. We prefer the fresh fish favorites from the ocean...red snapper, octupus, lobster, and tuna. Walking the endless beaches, swiming in the clear blue Indian Ocean, admiring the french honeymooners and relaxing by the pool. All is well in Paradise!

Seychelle Islands-Beyond Paradise
Day two in the Seychelle Islands, the most beautiful in the world. 1500 miles east of the African coast in the middle of the Indian ocean. Our magnificent hotel is on the island of Praslin. Today we took a ferry to La Digue island. We biked half way around the island, where we saw beaches, flowers, birds, turtles and breathtaking juxtaposition of mountains of granite and pure white beaches and beautiful hues of blue and green ocean really make this a destination beyond paradise!

Out of Africa
We arrived in the Seychelle Islands last night. The most beautiful in the WORLD-only 12,500 miles from Chicago! Our Safari adventures were life changing. We were fortunate to see and photograph the "big 5"- Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Rhino, and Water Buffalo! We also saw a Servil Cat, Flamingos, Jackal, and so much more on this amazing journey! We became very good friends with a lovely young couple from Boston. Enjoy the pics-a sample of about 1200 so far.
